  • Natalie Viohl & Heather Taylor

    Tiny Tots & 2s Teachers

Heather is a graduate of St. John Fisher College in Rochester, New York with 15 years of childcare experience. She is an enthusiastic, nurturing educator who is eager to contribute to St. Mark's mission of fostering an engaging & safe learning environment. With certification in early childhood & as a mother of three, Heather understands the importance of creating a nurturing environment where children feel safe, loved, & encouraged to explore, learn, & express themselves freely. Her teaching philosophy is centered around fostering a warm & supportive atmosphere where every child can thrive. Outside of school, Heather enjoys attending her children's athletic events, baking delicious treats, running to stay active, & diving into mystery thriller books.

Natalie has been a preschool teacher for over ten years & has had the joy of being part of the St. Mark's family for more than eight of those years. Natalie grew up in Barrington & loves the Barrington community. She holds an education degree from Purdue University & is devoted to encouraging the growth of each & every child. In her classroom she loves to teach through song, art, & movement - creating an environment where learning is active, social, joyful, & engaging. Her passion is to nurture young minds while building confidence, curiosity, & a love for learning! Outside of school, Natalie enjoys golfing, cooking & spending time with her two daughters.

She is well-qualified with early childhood certification from DCFS. Sara embraces the philosophy of St. Mark's as she supports children in their journey to learn, explore, & discover through play, music, art, and lots of movement! • Lisa Le & Meg Jorgensen

    Pre-K  (4s) Teachers

Lisa loves getting to help kids discover the joy of learning-especially through math & science, two of her favorite subjects. She started teaching almost 20 years ago as a preschool teacher in Flower Mound, Texas, & over the years taught everything from kindergarten to middle school. She has also led math & science camps & has done lots of tutoring along the way. No matter the age or subject, her goal is always the same: help students stay curious & excited to learn. She earned her BA in Child Psychology from Hollins University in Virginia, then came back to Texas for a Master's in Social Work from UT Arlington. She worked as a medical social worker in Dallas, then stayed home with her four daughters for nearly nine years. Later, she went back to school (again!) & earned her Master's in Teaching Mathematics from Texas Woman's University, & that's when her full-time teaching journey began! Outside of school, Lisa loves spending time with her husband of 30 years, Dan & their 4 daughters (27, 25, 22, & 21) who are all BIG fans of water polo!

Meg has been sharing her passion for education with children for over 16+ years. Meg has a B.A. in Elementary Education from Michigan State University (GO GREEN!) & joined St. Mark's in 2020. Meg is a caring, compassionate teacher who meets each child where they are at. Not only is Meg a nurturing teacher, but her love for her preschool students is so evident in the way she leads with patience, kindness, & warmth. Outside of school, Meg enjoys traveling, gardening, & spending time with her three children & seven grandchildren. Meg & her husband of 40 years, Mark, live in North Barrington with their two dogs, Ollie & Shuggie.

As both a parent & former teacher (& former student when I was 3 years old!!) at St. Mark's, this school & community holds a very special place in my life/heart. I currently love being a stay at home mom to my two boys, as I recently took time away from St. Mark's to welcome my second child in Dec. 2024. I hold a Master's Degree (M.Ed) with my major being in Early Education & my minor being in Curriculum & Instruction. My BA from DePaul University is in Relational Communication with a focus in early childhood. Within our Leadership Team, I will be focusing on Community Engagement & Outreach. We are all deeply committed to the values & vision of St. Mark's. As always, our doors & inboxes are open. We look forward to working closely with each of you to ensure that every child & family feels known, supported, & celebrated here at St. Mark's!
