Kindergarten readiness is the main objective in the fours program. Our program challenges children to prepare for the four areas of kindergarten readiness: academics, social, emotional, and physical. The two basic tools of learning are encouraged... curiosity and attention. We help children transition from the home-focused years of preschool to the peer-centered years of elementary school. Our thematically integrated program nurtures self-confidence, allowing children to feel successful in life. Our Phonics in Motion program, a strong literacy emphasis, concentration on numbers and basic math concepts, and encouragement of critical and creative thinking skills all prepare children academically for the exciting years ahead. Social-emotional skills are developed as teachers model skills of self- and social-awareness, self-management, problem-solving, and relationship building.
