  • Jennifer Reinhardt

    Interim Director

    Jen and her family relocated from Maryland in August 2018. She lives with her husband and 2 boys in Crystal Lake. As a graduate of Notre Dame of Maryland University, Jen’s teaching career has been geared towards the empowerment of preschool and elementary children. She has a strong passion to educate young minds and help them blossom into well-rounded, responsible, and successful individuals. Throughout the course of her career she has had the wonderful opportunity to teach the academics and visual arts. Jen strives to meet each student’s unique needs and style of learning in order to guide them in finding comfort and success. She has developed programs with lessons that promote creativity, encourage growing independence, and encourage children to reach their full potential. Jen is very excited to share her passion for education and the arts with your children.


  • Natalie Viohl

    Preschool 2 Teacher

    Natalie grew up in Barrington and graduated from Purdue University in 2000, where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Early Education.  She currently lives in Algonquin with her husband Sean and two daughters, Sophia (11) and Bianca (9).  This will be Natalie's second wonderful year at St. Mark's.

  • Kathi Slatter

    Preschool 3 Teacher

    Kathi Slatter has been teaching at St. Mark's for ten years.  She grew up in Park Ridge and attended Maine South High School.  She graduated from the University of Wisconsin Madison and earned her Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from National Lewis University.  She has four children in District 220 schools and enjoys skiing with all of them!

  • Kristie Frank

    Preschool 3 Teacher

    Kristie and her family have lived in Barrington for the past 25 years.  She and her husband, Brian, have three children; Samantha (24), Sara (22), and Charlie (18).  Education is very important to Kristie.  A graduate of Palatine High School and Iowa State University, she's made a commitment to the development of preschoolers.  This will be Kristie's fourth year at St. Mark's, every day is a gift.  She has always been passionate about children and she loves helping them grow, create, and have fun!

  • Heather Williams

    Preschool 3 Teacher

    Heather is thrilled to have the opportunity to spend time with your child this school year.  St. Mark’s holds a special place in her heart as she attended preschool here, and feels so fortunate to be able to teach in such a wonderful environment. This will be Heather’s fifth year teaching at St. Mark’s. She holds a Master’s Degree in Education and has taught second, third, and fourth grades during her nine years teaching elementary students. Her favorite subjects to teach have always been math and science, and she loves incorporating technology into her lessons. She is so excited to be able to pursue her passion of teaching with your child. When Heather is not teaching she enjoys spending time with her 10 year old twins and 7 year old daughter. She also loves to travel and play tennis in her free time.

  • Kim Green

    Pre-Kindergarten Teacher

    Kim is looking forward to joyfully celebrating her 20th year at St. Mark's this year where she has been abundantly blessed with countless lasting friendships with students, families, and staff.  She was born in raised in South Bend, Indiana and graduated from Purdue University.  She has been married to her husband Rick for 37 years and has two children and a grandson!  In her spare time she loves decorating, entertaining, gardening, cooking, and baking.  Her true joy is coming to school each day and creating a classroom that helps teach children the love of learning and development of lasting friendships!

  • Anne Quillen

    Pre-Kindergarten Teacher

    My name is Anne Quillen and I have been teaching preschool since 2008. I have been married for 21 years and have 2 daughters ages 13 and 10. I hold a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education from National Louis University. I taught preschool at the Elk Grove Day Care for 15 years. While I consider this Education invaluable, the most exciting education I have received is from the many years of working with young children! I have a passion for teaching and love meeting my new class and parents each year. It is wonderful to be back at St. Mark's Day School and I look forward to another great year.

  • Emily Bowker

    Emily grew up in Barrington. She earned her bachelor's degree in Communication Media Studies from DePaul University in Chicago. After a brief stint in the corporate world, she returned to school to further her education and change career paths. She received her Master of Arts in Teaching from National-Louis University in Chicago and began teaching at the elementary level. After marrying and starting a family, she and her husband Todd moved back to Barrington with their two children Ella and Tanner. Emily stayed home with her kids for a number of years, returning to teaching at St. Mark's in 2014. She has taught both the Pre-Kindergarten, and Preschool 3's programs. Emily is a firm believer in play based learning and inspiring children through music, art and movement. She is dedicated to treating each child as an individual and differentiating instruction based on specific needs. In her free time Emily relishes time with family, baking, walking and playing with the family dogs, exercise, and a good book.
